Is Google’s Android TV dongle on the way?
It looks like a Google Android TV dongle could be hitting the market soon. An FCC filing by Google was recently discovered for a new device part of Android TV that has been in the works for quite some time.
The new device, nicknamed “Sabrina” is a TV dongle that plans to use Android TV and a traditional remote-drive UI to operate, instead of using a smartphone-powered setup like Chromecast. With few options for Android TV currently on the market, this would be a welcome addition to the Android TV lineup.
There was also another device mentioned in the FCC filing. What are the details on that and what else do we know about “Sabrina” so far?
