NASA’s aging Hubble Space Telescope has experienced several issues over the last few years, but none have been as persistent as what it has experienced recently.
Hubble has been stuck in safe mode for over a month now, meaning the telescope has been rendered pretty much useless. This left NASA officials scrambling to troubleshoot and find the culprit causing the telescope’s woes.
On Wednesday, NASA announced they found a glitch that could be the reason why Hubble has been inoperable lately. And best of all, NASA scientists think they have a plan to fix it.
