Big Tech Update
Google Maps just rolled out another big update with a lot of new features. There are more than 100 new improvements to Google Maps with the new update. And while all of them have their own purpose for improving the user experience, there are five new features that rise to the top.
One of those features is the new eco-friendly route option. This feature allows Google Maps to optimize your route for fuel consumption. The intention is for Google Maps to default to the route with the lowest carbon footprint. This not only helps the environment, but it can help your wallet as well since more fuel efficient routes will cut down on your fuel consumption – meaning you won’t have to fill up with fuel quite as often.
Another new feature is “curbside grocery pickup support.” This feature will show profiles of area businesses that offer grocery pickup. All of the information you need will be in each profile, including any pickup fees, minimum order requirements, and pickup times. Which other new features are promising to make life and navigation just a little bit easier?
