Big Tech Update
The highly anticipated Sonos Roam speaker will be hitting the market soon on April 20, and we already have a full review to help you make your purchasing decision.
Though the Sonos Roam is tiny, it packs quite the punch. The portable Bluetooth speaker has a lightweight design that makes it easy to take with you if you’re on the go. It’s just shy of weighing a pound and measures a petite 6.5 x 2.5 x. 2.5 inches.
The new speaker is also extremely durable, with an IP67 rating – a huge improvement from its predecessor the Sonos Move’s IP56 rating. It is also waterproof and can be completely submerged in water and keep on ticking.
Sound quality for the Roam is quite impressive, so much so that Sonos has labeled it the best-sounding ultraportable speaker on the market. And while the Roam offers a ton of pros, there are a few cons to be noted, such as the battery life is a little disappointing and it doesn’t support multiple Bluetooth sources at the same time.
