Twitter removes 30,000 accounts linked to Russia, China and Turkey

Twitter has permanently removed 32,242 accounts that were found to be state-backed operations from China, Russia and Turkey.

Of those accounts, nearly 24,000 were found to be linked to a core network operated by the Chinese government.

No word from Twitter on how they plan to prevent such accounts from being created in the future.
