Big Tech Update
While iOS 14.5 still hasn’t been officially released, rumors about iOS 15 are starting to heat up.
As far as device compatibility is concerned, it appears that iOS 15 will be available for iPhone 7 models and later. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise since iPhone 6 phones are now more than five years old, which is practically ancient in the tech world.
There are a few rumored new features that iOS 15 could have. Reports indicate that the operating system will allow users to change more default apps. Now that users can change the default browser and mail apps thanks to iOS 14, and will also be able to change the default music app thanks to iOS 14.5, iOS 15 should offer even more flexibility in that regard.
The iOS 15 update will likely be able to accommodate an always on display, since the iPhone 13 is rumored to have one. It will more than likely make widgets more interactive as well.
So, what other iOS 15 rumors are floating around and when is it expected to launch? The release date could actually be a lot sooner than you think.
